 Sandy Bay Bungalows are located over an extensive beachfront at Haad Yao beach on Koh Phangan island, Thailand. Sandy Bay offers a complete range of bungalows and villas to suit all budgets including both air-con and fan accommodation. Along the beachfront are found superb bungalows and villas in a number of different styles and bedding options. Behind these and gradually climbing the hillside are further bungalows with views over the ocean and swimming pool.
The swimming pool is one of the largest on the beach and is positioned central to the resort in front of the large restaurant which serves an extensive range of Thai and western food. Within yards of the bungalows are two diving schools allowing guests to train locally and enjoy the Koh Phangan diving spots nearby at Koh Ma and around Phangan. There are also island tours, fishing trips, long tail boat island tours, jeep safaris and elephant trekking that can be arranged through our in-house travel service.
Haad Yao Bay offers one of the longest and definitely sandiest beaches on Koh Phangan with the resort positioned towards the southern end and allowing guests a wide beach upon which to bathe and relax. There is lots of snorkelling to be done as the coral reef runs about 80 metres offshore. There are also beach games such as volleyball, beach tennis and football played by the locals at sunset to watch, enjoy or participate in.
